"Native American Flute Tutor" A Simple Approach with Learn to Play Companion CD

This book is subtitled "A Simple Approach" because it offers a unique and easy method to begin playing the Native American style flute without using a music staff of key signatures. It is written for a non-music reader who wants to learn to play a 6-hole flute in any key. No prior experience is needed to learn form this book. This book uses a numbering system to teach finger placement. It covers techniques like breathing, embouchure, vibrato and embellishments. Each of these techniques can be practiced with the companion CD. Included are 19 Wabanaki tunes scored in the numbering system taught in the book.

The Walkabout Portable Didgeridoo by Rick Ellis, made of rosewood and maple in the key of D, sounds just like my Australian eucalyptus didj in the key of D! The Walkabout Portable has great sound!
And itís so portable! I donít need a big long bulky bag to carry it!
