Red Cedar Low E Drone with Aquamarine Stone Inlay

Look Beautiful, Sound Beautiful!

Red Cedar Low E Drone with Aquamarine Stone Inlay

Guillermo's 20+ years of experience as a premiere flute maker is highlighted in this low E Cedar Drone. It showcases a Red Cedar flute body with aquamarine stone inlays. The mouthpiece is crafted from Black Limba, the red accent ring is African padauk and the birds are Zebra wood with aquamarine stone inlays.

A six holed drone flute precisely tuned using the traditional Native American flute pentatonic minor scale 432 HZ. The chambers interiors are finished using Tung oil and the flutes exterior is finished with a non-toxic patina satin finish. This flute is silky to the touch.

Since each barrel is totally independent of the other, the flute may be played like a single barrel flute by simply positioning the lips on the right side of the mouthpiece so air enters only the right chamber. A slight shift of the lips to the left brings the left chamber into play and the sound flowing from the flute changes dramatically. The left barrel produces a drone tone which mixes with the notes being played on the right barrel creating a mystical sound that grabs the attention of anyone listening. Guillermo says that in the old times these were temple flutes to be played within the pyramids to connect with the higher self. We hope you enjoy playing it everywhere you go.

I just returned home from my tour and saw the package sitting there. Opened it up and all I have to say is ... "Wow!" This is the absolute BEST and COOLEST case I've ever had. It's lightweight, durable, fashionable and functional. You simply couldn't ask for anything better for your flutes! I will take this everywhere and recommend it whole-heartedly!
