Flute Playing Resources

We're here to help you on your flute-playing journey. We offer the largest, most complete selection of how to play the Native American Flute books and videos by R. Carlos Nakai, Douglas Spotted Eagle, Tim Crawford, Jeff Ball, Kimble Howard, John Sarantos, Carl Bludts and Laura Lee Perkins for the beginner to the advanced musician. Start by learning the basic scale, breathing and playing techniques, fingering, and many other helpful tips with one of our easy-to follow books or videos. Learn to play the Native American flute without reading music with some of our simple approach books using finger charts. A finger chart is a picture to show you where to place your fingers. We have songbooks with finger charts and companion CD's so you can play songs without reading notes or flute TABlature. Learn flute TABlature, a form of scored music for the Native American flute developed by R. Carlos Nakai, with one of the informative, practical guides we offer. We have songbooks with both traditional and contemporary songs compiled by some of the most notable Native American flute authors and players in the world. Learn direct from R. Carlos Nakai, Douglas Spotted Eagle, John Vames, Mary Youngbood and more.

Regarding your cases. I had chance to see a 4" diameter case from
FLutecase.com. It was made well, but i did not care for the fleece
lining (it puts fuzzy things on your flute socks) or the weight. That case
was heavy! Plus I like the design where one can remove/unsnap the shoulder strap. The Flutecase.com bag had the shoulder strap sewn on. Also, the top zip lid had to be peeled upward to do the zipping, it then had to be peeled down and had two velcro tabs to keep it there. I much prefer your method of the lid being sewn on and lipped over.
Its simply more fitted/finished looking. Everyone who has chance to see any of my Oregon flute store cases has to touch them. They simply stare and keep talking about how nice they are and how cute or neat it is (the Hummingbird).
Just a small pat on the back.
Thankyou for being in business
